El secretario de Estado de EEUU, Mike Pompeo, fue recibido en la noche de este viernes 18 de septiembre por la canciller de Colombia, Claudia Blum en Bogotá.

Pompeo saludó a la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores Claudia Blum tras bajar del avión, siguiendo los protocolos de seguridad. El secretario norteamericano llegó al territorio colombiano en el margo de su gira por Sudamérica para atender los principales temas de la región, con énfasis sobre la crisis en Venezuela.

Mike Pompeo visitó anteriormente Brasil donde reafirmó la sociedad clave entre ambas naciones. Además, conversó con los refugiados venezolanos que se encuentran en ese país.
