Costa Rica: Migración deportó 11 venezolanos este año y mantiene 20 con aprehensión administrativa

EL VENEZOLANO COLOMBIA | EL MONUMENTAL

La Policía Profesional de Migración contabiliza 11 personas de nacionalidad venezolana deportadas en lo que va del 2022 y mantiene a 20 con una aprehensión administrativa como medida cautelar por estar en condición irregular en el país.

En las últimas semanas se intensificaron los operativos de verificación de requisitos migratorios en localidades como Quepos, Pérez Zeledón, Jacó, San José, Heredia, Osa, entre otros.

Marlen Luna, directora de Migración, no descarta que el próximo año se presente un flujo migratorio similar al de este año.

Luna detalló sobre otras acciones que implementaron para atender a la población que ingresa al país desde la Frontera Sur.

La más reciente acción se realizó la semana pasada, donde aprehendieron a 26 personas, quienes fueron trasladas al Centro de Aprehensión Región Central, donde se hizo el proceso de verificación y control migratorio.
