La líder venezolana en el departamento, Liceth Yesenia Páez, aseguró que la apertura de la frontera del país con Venezuela permitirá un tránsito seguro y tranquilo de migrantes. También dijo que muchas personas llegan al país por trochas arriesgando sus vidas.

Descartó que la misma este acompañada del retorno al vecino país pues considera el gobierno venezolano es el mismo lo que evidencia la falta de oportunidades.

Espera que las autoridades colombianas establezcan el diálogo con el vecino país para que no afecten la apertura de frontera.
