Venezuela gana el I Concurso de cortometrajes iberoamericanos

EL VENEZOLANO COLOMBIA

 El cortometraje venezolano “Lejos de Casa. La historia de Nancy y Frangeer” (2019), dirigido por Yangel Machado, ganó el I Concurso de cortometrajes iberoamericanos de Casa de América, dentro de la iniciativa digital “No por corto menos cine”, dotado con un premio de 500 euros (608 dólares).

El corto relata la historia de Nancy, una anciana que tiene que adaptarse al cambiante mundo actual a la vez que debe criar a su nieto Frangeer, de 16 años, tras la marcha de su madre a Chile, explicó este jueves Casa de América en un comunicado.

A esta primera edición del certamen se presentaron más 200 cortometrajes de 12 países dentro de la iniciativa “No por corto menos cine” que inició la Casa de América en el año 2010 para dar a conocer la obra “en corto” de cineastas iberoamericanos.

Yangel Machado, ganador de esta primera edición, es un joven realizador venezolano formado en la Escuela Metropolitana de Producción Audiovisual
