Finalmente se conoció quién será la empresa encargada de construir y materializar la primera línea del metro de Bogotá. El consorcio chino Apca Transmimetro, integrado por las firmas China Harbour Engineering Company Limited y Xi’An Metro Company Limited fue el ganador de la licitación para iniciar el tan esperado proyecto que, de acuerdo con las especificaciones del contrato de concesión, deberá ser ciento por ciento en viaducto, eléctrico, automatizado y cumplir con altos estándares ambientales.
