Acción de Roblox negocia más de 25% a la baja tras disminuir sus expectativas de ventas

@factores.economicos Roblox recortó su pronóstico de ventas anuales hoy jueves, en una señal de que las personas están reduciendo el gasto dentro de su plataforma de videojuegos en medio de una perspectiva económica incierta y niveles elevados de inflación.

El pronóstico a la baja marca el último informe pesimista de la industria del juego, que ha despedido a cientos de empleados y cerrado estudios este año para hacer frente a la disminución de la demanda.

Roblox ahora espera que las ventas para todo el año estén entre $4 y $4.10 billones, por debajo de su pronóstico anterior de $4.14 a $4.28 billones.

La industria del juego está lidiando con un menor compromiso, que se espera que mantenga el crecimiento en el mercado de PC y consolas por debajo de los niveles previos a la pandemia hasta 2026, según la firma de investigación Newzoo.

La acción de Roblox (RBLX) acumulaba al cierre de ayer una pérdida del 9.21% en lo que va del 2024.
