La inflación en la zona euro se incrementó durante el mes de diciembre

@factores.economicos La inflación general en la zona euro saltó al 2.9% en diciembre, desde el 2.4% del mes anterior, aunque la inflación subyacente siguió cayendo.

La cifra anual fue ligeramente inferior al 3% previsto en una encuesta de economistas de Reuters.

La inflación subyacente – que excluye los precios de la energía, los alimentos, el alcohol y el tabaco – se enfrió al 3.4% el mes pasado desde el 3.6% de noviembre.

Se esperaba un aumento general debido a los efectos base del mercado energético, ya que las caídas de precios se moderan. Los precios de la energía bajaron un 6.7% interanual en diciembre, frente a una caída del 11.5% en noviembre.

Los bancos centrales eran conscientes de que este repunte podría producirse, por lo que es poco probable que afecte a su toma de decisiones., la medición de enero será crucial para ver si la tendencia a la baja se reanuda, comentó un economista estratega de la firma Morningstar.
