“Free Color”, la historia de Cruz- Diez en un documental

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Palm Springs anunció el estreno mundial del documental Free Color, basado en la vida y la obra artística del maestro venezolano, Carlos Cruz-Diez.

El documental está dirigido por Alberto Arvelo y documenta lo que se convirtió en una obsesión para el maestro del cinetismo: liberar al color de la forma.

La cinta narra la última gran cruzada de uno de los más grandes artistas de los últimos tiempos, junto a un grupo de científicos del Instituto de Tecnología de California, provocando un fascinante dialogo entre el arte y la ciencia.

El estreno será el 4 de enero de 2020 en el Annenberg Theater de Palm Springs, California.

El artista plástico murió en París el pasado 27 de Julio, poco antes de cumplir 96 años.
