Por migración venezolana, gasto de Colombia incrementaría 0,6 % del PIB al 2023

Jorge Roldós, director asistente del Departamento del Hemisferio Occidental del Fondo Monetario Internacional (FMI), dijo hoy que, en el corto plazo, la migración venezolana va a tener impactos fiscales y laborales en los países vecinos.

En cuanto a Colombia, Roldós dijo que, hacia 2023, el gasto de Colombia podría incrementar hasta 0,6 % del PIB.

De otro lado, a mediano plazo, dijo que la migración venezolana le ayudaría a Colombia a incrementar su PIB, en promedio hasta 2030, hasta 0,3 % del PIB.

 “Al 2030, en promedio el déficit fiscal aumentaría 0,3 % del PIB y el déficit de la cuenta corriente podría crecer entre el 0,5 % y 0,6 % del PIB”, dijo Roldós.

Roldós finalizó afirmando que, si siguen las tendencias como están ahora, a 2023 la migración venezolana puede llegar a 10 millones.
